In connection with Hotel d’Angleterre’s 250 years anniversary, Hospicefonden Denmark was awarded a donation of DKK 2 millions as financial help to found Hospicefonden Denmark. The mission of the Hospicefonden is to support the expansion of hospices in Denmark.

Githa Nørby accepted the donation of DKK 2 millions on behalf of the Hospicefonden in connection with a reception at Hotel d’Angleterre, where the Children’s Cancer Foundation and the Danish Brain Injury Association also received donations as part of the celebration of the 250^th anniversary of the hotel.

THE REMMEN FOUNDATION

The Remmen Foundation (Remmen’s Stiftung von 1986) was founded by Henning Remmen in 1986. Originally, the purpose of the Foundation was to operate a variety of commercial activities centered around hotels.
