The Children’s Cancer Foundation was in connection with Hotel d’Angleterre’s 250 years anniversary in 2005 awarded DKK 2 millions.

The actress Ghita Nørby received the donation on behalf of the Children’s Cancer Foundation at a reception at Hotel d’Angleterre, where HRH Crown Princess Mary, also participated as the patron of The Brain Injury Association.

Minnie and Mickey from Disney were also invited to the reception, and they participated in the actual donation ceremony taking place at four children’s cancer hospitals in Denmark.

THE REMMEN FOUNDATION

The Remmen Foundation (Remmen’s Stiftung von 1986) was founded by Henning Remmen in 1986. Originally, the purpose of the Foundation was to operate a variety of commercial activities centered around hotels.
