He was employed with SAS for 24 years as a pilot.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During the 1970s Henning Remmen built the hotel center Scandinavia Holiday-Center in Lemvig, and later Admiral Hotel in an old warehouse at the port of Copenhagen.<\/li>\n<li>In the years to follow, Hotel Sophie Amalie (Today: Scandic Front), Hotel Kong Frederik and Restaurant Copenhagen Corner were acquired as well.<\/li>\n<li>The prestigious Hotel d&#8217;Angleterre was bought in 1993 and emerged &#8211; after an extensive renovation &#8211; as the jewel of the \u201cRemmen Hotels\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Henning Remmen was the Chairman of the &#8220;Remmen Hotels&#8221; and together with his wife Else Marie Remmen they both left their mark on the city of Copenhagen \u2013 especially during December \u2013 with the famous Christmas decoration of Hotel d&#8217;Angleterre.<\/li>\n<li>September 2007 \u201cRemmen Hotels\u201c was sold to the Icelandic investment company Nordic Partners.<\/li>\n<li>Hereafter the Remmen Foundation focused exclusively on charity donations in the field of social and cultural activities, as well as medical care and research.<\/li>\n<li>Three years later &#8211; in 2010 &#8211; the Remmen Foundation had the possibility to repurchase Hotel d&#8217;Angleterre. Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The board is responsible for the guidelines of the Foundation, its economy and its long term financial development.<\/p>\n<p>It is also the board, which makes the final decisions
