In connection with Hotel d’Angleterre’s 260 years anniversary in 2015 the Remmen Foundation established a specific art award “The Remmen Foundation Art Prize”.
The art prize is awarded annually and aims to find and support a promising young Danish artist with a donation of DKK 100.000.
The young artist is nominated and selected by the specific committee set up for this purpose. The prize committee consists among others of Mette Remmen Kristiansen, board member of the Remmen Foundation as well as art collector Arne Wulff, who is also responsible for the procurement of the art, which today adorn the walls of the Hotel d’Angleterre.
